Report Road Problems

You can report various problems to Hampshire County Council through their Hantsweb site.

Problems you can report include potholes, streetlights, traffic lights & signs, roads, trees & hedges, pavements, and drains and flooding.

There's an interactive map where you can identify the road/intersection/area concerned.

Remember to add your name, address and contact details so that the Highways Area Manager can make contact if necessary.

Household Waste and Recycling Collections

Grey refuse bins are collected from the area weekly, normally on Thursday

Green recycling bins are collected fortnightly, normally on Thursday
(the Green Round)

Bulky Household Waste Collections

A chargeable bulky household waste collection service is available from the borough council for items such as furniture, fridges, washing machines etc.

To request a bulky household waste collection ring 01256 844844 (have your credit/debit card details available if you wish to pay using this method).

Green Garden Waste Collection

Green garden waste is collected fortnightly, on a Saturday, during the peak growing season.  The service is for grass cuttings, hedge clippings, leaves, flowers, weeds and other green garden waste.
